  Leave the rocking chair behind

If you’re bored at Independence Village of Naperville, don’t blame us!  We not only have places to go, people to meet, and things to do – we have a way to get you there as well!

First, there’s the Riverwalk, where you can enjoy the beautiful brick paths, fountains, and covered bridges that wind along the DuPage River in downtown Naperville--home to the Riverwalk Amphitheater complex. And Centennial Beach, open from Memorial Day through Labor Day, offers nearly six acres of fence enclosed park area.

Our guests also enjoy Naperville’s wide array of year-round cultural and recreational outlets including museums, public art and performance groups, and theaters. We also make visits to the racetrack and casino, head out to the ball games, and take in concerts in the park. Our residents have been known to enjoy the fabulous Spirit of Chicago Tour of Lake Michigan, the Saint Charles Paddleboat Cruise, and much, much more.

Right on the premises, you can stay fit with exercise and yoga classes, make new friends at Friday Happy Hour, learn crafts and pottery, or participate in sing-alongs. From picnics to bingo, chapel services to book club...from Hawaiian luaus to movies and munchies--there’s always something to do at Independence Village of Naperville.
