Independence Village of Naperville is a month to month rental community. There is no long-term lease or any type of down payment. A one month security deposit is all that is required. Independence Village of Naperville offers a variety of floor plans to meet your needs. Each apartment offers a beautiful view of our shaded courtyards or the surrounding residential environment. The apartments are unfurnished so that you may decorate with cherished furniture and possessions. Personal tastes can be catered to anytime from your convenient kitchenette. Each apartment features a large walk-in closet, personal bathroom and individual temperature control.

Independence Village Retirement Community offers a Home Health Agency that is on-site 24 hours a day to provide personal care for retirees who wish to live independently, yet need assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, and taking medication.  New to the Village, on-site out patient therapy services are available.

SAFETY FEATURES

Each apartment has a state-of-the-art emergency system. The call system can be activated from the bedroom, living room and bathroom. This system ensures that residents can signal the staff at times of emergency. The entire community is equipped with smoke alarms and a fire sprinkler system for your safety.

DINING

Dining is an important and celebrated part of our day. Three balanced meals are served each day in our main dining room. Residents have their choice of entrees, side dishes and desserts as well as a full salad bar.

Family and guests are welcome at any meal. Special events and parties can also be arranged at your request. Our chef plans varied menu selections to satisfy your taste and the courteous and attentive staff make dining a pleasurable experience.

SERVICES AND AMENITIES

Our professional housekeeping staff provides scheduled weekly housekeeping services which include clean linens and fresh towels. Two fully equipped laundry rooms are complimentary for residents' personal laundry. We also offer a professionally staffed beauty/barber shop, unlimited snack items, a lobby area, an activity room, a lounge, library, plus social and recreational areas. Independence Village of Naperville also provides scheduled transportation for shopping, sightseeing, community events, outings and physician appointments. A podiatrist, dentist and audiologist have office visits inside our building. The grounds and building are kept well-manicured and immaculate. A full-time maintenance staff is available for any repairs you might find necessary. Entertaining family and friends will be a joy in our pleasant surroundings.

Professionally planned and coordinated programs are offered to all residents. Programs include arts and crafts, discussion groups, happy hours, card games, bingo, movies, guest speakers and lecturers, musical performances, exercise programs, and non-denominational religious services.
